![]() ![]() Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. Even before the game loads, I can see my trackers are not in line with me, and a whole person to the. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. I tried to playspace my avatar to the balls, however, the balls also move with playspace - When I move my feet and hips, the balls move, it just wont line up with the avatar, making the avatar look all bendy.-I have tried different avatars. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) Let me know if you find anything.Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD. It is possible that one of our trackers could be a dud. Not sure if it will fix our issue but I'm giving it a shot I'll update after. Join the fastest-growing 3D model marketplace This is still a beta version that is not finalNote: These animations are tuned for the Davali. You can try increasing it to -calibration-range="1.0".īe careful with this adjustment! If your feet are misaligned due to an incorrectly-set User Real Height, there will likely be other issues in the future if you fix it via a calibration-range change.ĭon’t forget to remove the launch option if it doesn’t help. This is done via a “launch option”, which you can set in Steam via the VRChat properties. I havent done any testing to confirm this, but I believe it usually doesnt work on 2.0 avatars. Note that this may not work with some seats. Should reload your avatar which should let you do full body in seats. If you’re having problems with your hip tracker, or your hip seems surprisingly unexpressive but your feet are fine, you can also try adjusting your calibration range. Just toggling osc on/off through the settings menu in the radial menu whike seated. My legs/hip isn’t tracking properly after calibration! This is some sort of bug I'm not exactly sure what causes it but I have the same issue I have excellent hip movement in real life (my wife can confirm) but literally zero in vrchat Avatar and World requests must go in green pinned posts.įollow Reddit's Content Policy Official Links:įeature Requests & Bug Reports Community:.Posts by users exceeding once per day are subject to removal at moderator discretion.Self promotion of content hosted outside of Reddit (YouTube channel, Twitch, Instagram, etc) limited to once per month if active on the subreddit (specifically comments) and once per three months if not.Do not use this subreddit to question moderation of another social platform.
